MessageOn 17 January 2010, a man was reportedly seen dragging a medium sized white dog (we have named him Billy) along Queens Avenue in Winchmore Hill London.
The dog was observed to be absolutely terrified.
At some time in the afternoon/evening, the dog was killed.
The dog's body was discovered on 18 January.
It had been thrown over a fence behind Capitol House.

Can you help name the individual who did this?
Do you, or anyone you know or have any information?
Do you know someone who had a dog, or was in contact with a dog like this that is now missing?

Your information will be in confidence, but if it seems relevant, will be passed to the police and RSPCA.
This behaviour cannot be condoned through your silence.
This 'man' needs to be caught and punished.
The unfortunate dog cannot speak for itself and the public must speak instead.

If so, please join the Facebook group http://www.facebook .com/group. php?v=wall& ref=search& gid=317068026933

Help us bring this evil person to justice.

Please send any information in a private message to Sally Nicholson-Fisher via the above Facebook link.

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thankyou

Regards,
The Alfie's Lost Dogs Team.

Hi, I live not far from where this happened. It has been widely reported in the local press so there's no doubt about the authenticity of the story. Initially I wanted to organise a group of dog-owning friends to go and hunt this sick individual down, but this would just bring us down to his level, and that's a place I really don't want to be!

I believe there's a local action group set up now - I'll try and find the article and scan (if I can get my scanner to work!).

Let's all hope that the old saying is true - what goes around, comes around .......
