Sorry for not being around, it's been very busy here. Yes, Holly is here with me (IMG:http://www.sighthoundsonline.org.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Thanks to everyone who has pointed me in the direction of several different hounds. It's so hard chosing when there are so many needing homes, but I guess the hound that comes here will choose me. I'll be looking for a hound once Holly is well enough to have her vaccines which hopefully won't be too long.

Hi,
I've got a gorgeous foster with me at the moment - Tango is a whippet cross, and your household sounds just what he is looking for! He has a thread under "Hounds in Rescues", and I've also just put one on "Individual Hounds" as I forgot about Laurie's post!
I won't bore you with any more details, there's plenty on the threads, and I'll update them as Tango progresses.
Good luck with your search.

I think I've found my sighthound now, or rather she found me. I sadly lost my Holly in 24th and had gone to the stray kennels to see what other collies need a home and have my name down for a collie bitch, providing she's not claimed and also just as I was leaving a lurcher was being bought back for the 3rd time and I have reserved her. I've not bought her home yet so I have the weekend to get some lurcheresque stuff in for her. She's young, but not cat tested so I have her on trial to see what she thinks of the cats. I'll keep you all updated.
