It is a great shame that they go overseas and save lives but then are confined to a tiny cell for 6 months when they return.

I have signed as I believe there is no need for this stupid UK ruling which was to keep the Quarantine Kennels in business after the Pet Passport Scheme came into being. However not all of the world's countries are covered by the Pet Passport Scheme. There is no reason why these rescue dogs cannot be held in a Quarantine facility at their base. The wolves at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in Beenham near Reading that cane from Eastern Europe were held in a large enclosure on the Trusts site. We still have to prevent Rabies from entering the UK but we should be like the rest of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada that they are safe after the successful testing of the rabies vaccination one month later.

What annoys me is Humans are allowed without restriction to enter the Uk without having been vaccinated against any diseases. One of the reasons why we are being affected by the Swine Flu disease.
